Why Join Our Florida Fleet?Are you a professional Class A driver looking for a steady regional route that keeps you close to home? We are hiring full-time W-2 drivers for consistent intra-state freight out of the Polk City/Lakeland market. If you are tired of disappearing over the state line for weeks at a time, this regular Florida-based operating area offers the perfect balance of solid mileage and predictable home time.
The Pay & Miles (W-2)- Starting Base Pay: $0.63 CPM
- Average Weekly Earnings: $1,150 to $1,400 per week
- Consistent Volume: Average 1,800 to 2,200 miles per week
- Short-Haul Metro Pay: $120 flat for loads under 200 miles
- Drop & Stop Pay: $25 per stop (excludes origin and final destination)
- Home Time: Home weekly, with only 2–3 nights out on the road.
- Resets: Spend your full 34-hour reset in the comfort of your own home each week.
- Schedule: Saturday work is a regular part of the weekly schedule.
- Operating Area: 100% focused lanes within the state of Florida. No out-of-state runs.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience.
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Geography: Living within a 40-mile radius of Polk City, FL (33868). (If you live slightly outside this zone, please apply anyway—our recruiting team reviews border-zone candidates individually before making a decision).
- Safety: A clean or acceptable driving record (MVR) and solid safety history.
