Salary Range: $530,175.00 to $686,211.00

Potential Premium Earnings: $176,460.00

  • The salary range encompasses incentives that depend on skills, experience, longevity, and geographic location.

  • Earnings within this range are subject to the necessary Board Certification.

  • Potential premium earnings may differ based on the location.

  • The annual salary is influenced by tenure with the organization and the full-time equivalent (FTE) work schedule.

Cardiac Surgery Intensivist

Location: Orange County | Medical Center in Anaheim

  • A new 20-bed Cardiac Surgery ICU is set to launch in Spring 2027.

  • This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an expanding Cardiac Surgery program.

  • Work alongside a dedicated team of Cardiac Surgeons, Cardiac Anesthesia specialists, and nursing staff.

  • Oversee patient care from pre-operative through post-operative ICU management and discharge .

  • Engage in a full range of critical care procedures tailored to cardiac surgery patients .

  • This role is not traditional shift work ; it includes daytime coverage and shared on-call duties.

Requirements
  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine.

  • Experience in managing patients following cardiac surgery is essential.

  • Comfort with standard ICU procedures and post-operative cardiac care is required.
