The ideal candidate will be detail-focused, yet creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial team environment that is mission-driven, people-oriented, and fast-paced. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise clear judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Hospitality Coordinator will have the ability to work independently on projects from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all forms of correspondence including voicemail, email, and regular mailOversee guest assimilation process, including Pushpay ChMS process queuesOversee quarterly First Step and gatheringsOversee Connect Ministry and build relationships with volunteer leadersOversee Café operationsReview and approve Hospitality and Lobby usage requestsOrganize and plan hospitality for special church events such as Christmas, Easter, and EOGPartner with Worship Pastor to facilitate baptism weekendsPoint of contact for congregant and guest needs including weekend incident management and congregant careDevelop an annual budget and manage monthly spendingPerform other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:HS Diploma or EquivalentPrior experience coordinating teamsSkills and AbilitiesDeveloped and honed communication skills and interpersonal awarenessAbility to multi-task and prioritize decisionsSensitive and skilled in dealing with differing behaviors, feelings and valuesAppropriate awareness of privacy of sensitive and confidential informationEnjoy working collaboratively with a staff teamA demonstrated interest in new technologies and approachesRecognizes own limits and embraces the expertise of other staffStrong competence on Apple computers and within Microsoft Office suiteAbility to work with Data Base AdministrationPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsAdequate transportation to complete job responsibilities in a timely mannerProlonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking/sittingManual dexterity and mobilityVisual and auditory acuityAbility to lift, push, pull 30 poundsExposed to a variety of electromechanical hazardsSubject to varying and unpredictable situationsMSC Staff Expectations and StandardsAttendance and punctuality consistent with job requirementsAppearance appropriate for task per agency and department dress codeStandard of conduct according to MSC Conduct CodeAdherence to MSC Employee HandbookRegularly attend scheduled/assigned staff meeting and MSC worship servicesUses resources in a cost-effective mannerOperates needed equipment efficiently and effectivelyEstablishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with all employeesA deep and growing love for the local churchMountain Springs values each employee and the important role they fill on staff.
