Counseling Psychology Adjunct Faculty 2026-2027 Job No: 498817 Work Type: Adjunct Faculty Location: Denver, CO Categories: Faculty Position Summary The Morgridge College of Education is looking to hire adjunct instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year to teach a variety of graduate courses in the Counseling Psychology. Courses may vary. More information about the courses can be found on the Registrar's Office schedule of classes at This posting will serve for multiple openings throughout the 2026-2027 academic year. Essential Functions Teach in person once or twice a week (depending on course); Create and maintain course Canvas container; Meet with students as needed; Assign papers, exams and other deliverables as appropriate; Grade in a timely manner; Participate in recruiting and informational events as needed; If the course includes multiple sections, collaborate with instructors of other sections. Required Qualifications Master's Degree Previous teaching experience Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults at the graduate level. Preferred Qualifications PhD Successful teaching/facilitation experience with adults in graduate education programs. Work Schedule While the University's administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. The University's academic calendars are posted on the registrar's website at Working Environment Standard office environment. Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high. Noise level is quiet to moderate. Physical Activities Ability to sit or stand in front of a computer for an extended period. Occasionally required to move about the office/campus.
