Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 3037 Lakeland Hills Blvd, Suite 5, Lakeland, FL 33805 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 32 hours per week. Additional hours available if willing to provide coverage at nearby centers. Compensation: $28-32 per hour, based experience Incentives: $12,000 sign-on bonus plus $200 per month in student loan repayment

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team at our Lakeland Hills location. This center features a collaborative group of four clinicians treating a diverse orthopedic caseload with specialties that include neurology, sports medicine, dry needling, and fall prevention. We welcome both new graduates and experienced PTAs who are eager to grow in a supportive clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
