Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location Warrenton, VA

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description We are seeking a self-motivated and self-sufficient Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to perform a variety of ER tasks and provide high-quality patient care across all age groups. Our facility is dedicated to offering exceptional medical services, with a focus on creating positive patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and triage of patients in the emergency setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Conduct phlebotomy, IV placement, EKGs, splinting, and wound care.
• Ensure timely and safe transport of patients as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Active RN license and clear understanding of relevant state regulations.
• Strong patient-centered approach with a focus on quality care.
• Ability to float to appropriate units if necessary.
