Senior Design Engineer (P3) - F119 Fan/HPC (Onsite)

What You Will Do Design lead for investigation of military engine field incidents reported by USAF leading to root cause and corrective action. Develop serviceable limits for engine part wear for the USAF. Lead or support producibility improvement investigations at various vendors. Perform engineering first‑piece reviews remotely and at vendor locations for new and cold start parts. Assist in creation of safety risk analysis and develop risk mitigation plans. Present and communicate results to customers and program management. Analysis and disposition of quality non‑conformances (QNs) for new parts, and supplier requests for information (SRIs). Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of prior relevant experience, OR Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience 10% of travel required U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required Qualifications We Prefer MS in Engineering 5+ years experience in jet engine design Rotating hardware and airfoil experience Experience with Unigraphics and Teamcenter ANSYS experience desired Familiarity with engineering standard work Class I and II EC process Proficiency with SAP Experience with fault tree investigation Salary & Benefits Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (US-based role).
