Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown Unit

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our 12-bed Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients stepping down from higher levels of care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage patient conditions, vital signs, and reports to physicians as needed.
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care and progress in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license, with verification required through Nursys.
• Knowledge of basic pharmacology and rhythm interpretation.
• Current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant training.
• Proof of immunizations and health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, TB test, and others as specified.
