Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting during night shift hours
• Float to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics as needed based on staffing requirements and within scope of practice
• Work 3 weekends per six-week schedule as part of standard scheduling expectations
• Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required by unit scheduling
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, including documentation in Epic
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license (pending licenses accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• References required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals are not accepted for this unit)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• BSN preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or pediatric specialty setting
