Role Description The Radiologic Technologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Dublin, OH. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including preparing patients, positioning them correctly, and operating radiologic equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include verifying patient information, following physician orders for imaging, maintaining accurate records, and monitoring equipment performance. The Radiologic Technologist collaborates with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure clear imaging results and timely support for surgical and diagnostic workflows. The role also involves adhering to radiation safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and providing clear, compassionate communication to patients and families. Demonstrated proficiency in Radiologic Technology, including performing diagnostic imaging procedures and operating radiologic equipment. Current or eligible certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and compliance with ongoing credentialing requirements. Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety practices, including proper shielding, dose management, and adherence to regulatory standards. Foundational understanding of Medicine and Radiology to interpret imaging orders, support accurate exams, and collaborate effectively with clinical teams. Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program; associate’s degree or higher in radiologic science or related field preferred. Valid state licensure (as required by Ohio regulations) and eligibility to work in a surgical center environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support patients of diverse backgrounds in a respectful, inclusive manner. Strong attention to detail, reliability in following protocols, and ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, lifting, and positioning patients.
