Litigation Associate

Quilling, Selander, Lownds, Winslett & Moser P.C. seeks a highly motivated litigation associate with 3 to 5 years of experience for our insurance defense practice group. Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload
• Prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, including depositions.
• Attend mediations and otherwise negotiate settlements.
• Communicate with shareholders, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently.

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience litigating insurance defense cases
• Strong insurance knowledge
• Strong research and writing skills

Qualification and Education Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.

• Experience analyzing, reviewing, editing, and drafting litigation documents, as well as superior logical reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Must have demonstrated the ability to work with clients who demand excellence and be able to meet their expectations.
