Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients on a 9-bed L&D unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including circulating in the OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management using the JADA system, and nitrous oxide administration
• Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities in alignment with individual patient preferences
• Document accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic documentation systems
• Fulfill scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per month; float to mother/baby or outside department to task as needed
• Maintain patient experience standards above the 75th percentile

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Fetal monitoring certification
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced L&D environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Spinning Babies training or experience
• STABLE program certification or familiarity
• Experience with laborist or team-based care models
