Role Overview Provides high-quality direct nursing care within a Med Surg and Post Surgical department. Acts as a central clinical coordinator, managing care plan implementation and updating the multidisciplinary team on patient conditions. Facilitates smooth patient transitions by assessing discharge needs and collaborating on recovery preparation. Responsibilities Include Executing physician orders and clinical protocols to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment. Managing patient care and coordination across healthcare teams. Assessing discharge needs and preparing patients for next recovery stages. Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing. Current BLS certification within 30 days of employment (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted). Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
