Examples of duties include: Candidates must be 15 years of age. Must possess water safety, customer-service and conflict resolution skills. Must demonstrate maturity and good decision making. Must be able to verbally communicate to the public and handle facility and patron emergencies and altercations in an effective way. Must be personable and willing to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with city staff members, volunteers and the general public.

Typical qualifications include: Seasonal and part-time employees have access to several great perks. If a certification is required for your position (such as CPR, First Aid, or lifeguard credentials), the City will cover the cost of the certification where applicable, helping you get trained and ready to work without paying out of pocket. You're also eligible to purchase a 12-visit punch pass for just $5, which can be used throughout the Kettering Recreation Complex for access to fitness areas, swimming, the ice arena, the water park, and select exercise classes. In addition, employees may receive discounts on PRCA programs and discounts on concessions at the Adventure Reef Water Park.
