ETF Fund Accountant I

Overview The UMB Registered Fund team manages daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients. As a Fund Accountant I, you will handle all functions related to the daily calculation of the net asset value (NAV) for multiple funds and perform accounting, pricing, review, and reconciliation functions. Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting functions for multiple funds. Prepare and review preliminary trial balances and NAV calculations. Monitor and analyze income and expense accruals to ensure GAAP compliance. Analyze corporate action applications for GAAP compliance. Reconcile cash settlements, position quantities, and trade detail exceptions with custodian and prime broker records. Investigate and resolve cash or position discrepancies in collaboration with custodians, prime brokers, transfer agencies, advisors, and portfolio managers/traders. Analyze security pricing exceptions to ensure proper prices are used in NAV calculations. Partner with internal and external parties to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, IRS, and GAAP reporting requirements. Coordinate audit materials and respond to audit inquiries. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Investment Banking, Economics, or International Business. Working Hours Monday to Friday: 10a.m. to 7p.m. CST. Monday‑Thursday are in‑office; Friday is remote with possible remote work allowed depending on location. Compensation $43,000.00 – $82,590.00 annually. Actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job‑related factors.
