Behavioral Health Social Worker

We Are Hiring Location: Chicago, IL Facility: Ascension Saint Joseph Department: Eating Disorder Unit Schedule: Day shift | PRN | 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Salary: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour What You Will Do Day Shift: Weekday and weekend coverage Create plan for care across the continuum, integrating patient/family preferences and values. Monitor patient care through assessments, evaluations and/or patient records. Advocate for resources and removal of barriers. Maintain ongoing dialog with supervisor and other health providers to ensure effective implementation of health plan. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required: Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Additional Preferences MSW, LSW required. Float to all 3 units, but primarily for the EDU to help with PTO and coverage needs.
