Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless kitchen operations. Responsibilities Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Monitor food freshness and maintain consistent quality Assist in receiving and storing inventory deliveries Stock inventory appropriately Assist in washing, and putting away all restaurant serveware Comply with regular cleaning and maintenance duties Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers Regular and consistent attendance at work PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS: Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to follow instructions (i.e. menus/recipes) Must be able to stand 5-6 hours a day Must be able to squat, reach, bend and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Must have knowledge of food storage/handling techniques #J-18808-Ljbffr
