You'll dive into the heart of a state-of-the-art simulation pipeline and collaborate with industry experts as you train and fine‑tune multimodal deep learning models. Responsibilities Apply cutting‑edge computational geometry, image processing, computer vision, and machine learning techniques to tackle the long tail of real‑world situations. Design and validate deep learning models against challenging real‑world and simulation scenarios. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our simulation pipeline to enhance the performance of perception algorithms. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop efficient deep learning models and integrate them into our production perception pipeline. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in perception technologies and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Required Skills Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a strong academic background in relevant coursework. Proficient in Python or C++. Deep understanding of machine learning principles and methodologies, demonstrated through academic coursework or hands‑on project experience. Practical experience in applying and fine‑tuning deep neural networks, particularly in large‑scale, data‑driven applications. Strong familiarity with machine learning/deep learning tools and frameworks like PyTorch and ONNX. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a dynamic, cross‑functional team. Preferred Skills Past experience with AV simulation frameworks and training deep learning models for scene understanding. Experience with ROS, C++, CUDA. Publication record in relevant venues (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGGRAPH). Salary Range $19 - $65 an hour Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
