Enterprise Architect - HybridGenesis10 is currently seeking an Enterprise Architect - Hybrid position with a Major Healthcare Company located in Eagan, MN. This is a contract to hire opportunity. This is a hybrid position - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote. Compensation: $79.00 - $89.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications.Position Overview: This role will lead enterprise architecture strategy and help drive the architecture practice across the organization. The position will be important in shaping enterprise data architecture and modern data platforms, while helping define how the architecture must evolve to support AI long term. The Enterprise Architect will partner with executive, business, and technology leaders to develop enterprise technology roadmaps, establish standards, and guide modernization within a complex healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:Define enterprise architecture strategy, roadmaps, high-level enterprise conceptual architectures, standards, and governanceHelp drive the enterprise architecture practice and competency, providing architectural leadership across the organizationPartner with business and technology leaders to align architecture with strategic initiatives and long-term business objectivesProvide strong leadership in enterprise data architecture, data governance, modern data platforms, and data integrationHelp shape how enterprise architecture evolves to enable and support AI capabilities over the long termLead and guide cloud modernization, application modernization, and technical debt reductionGuide architecture across applications, cloud, data, integration, infrastructure, and securityDrive API strategy, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integrationSupport modernization of the software development lifecycle, including modern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and DevSecOps practicesEnsure solutions align with security, compliance (HIPAA), scalability, and enterprise standardsMentor architects and engineering teams while influencing architectural direction across a large, matrixed organizationPrimary Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience12+ years of IT experience5+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture leadership; a blend of enterprise and solution architecture experience is valuableExperience developing enterprise technology roadmaps and high-level enterprise conceptual architecturesExperience driving architecture practices, standards, governance, and architectural competencyStrong experience in enterprise data architecture and modern data platformsExperience leading digital transformation and cloud modernizationExperience within large enterprise environmentsAgile/SAFe experienceHealthcare experience strongly preferredEnterprise Architecture (TOGAF preferred)Modern data platforms and technologies; Databricks experience preferredAWS and cloud-native architectureAI architecture and an understanding of how enterprise architecture must evolve to enable AIMicroservices, domain-driven design, and event-driven architectureREST APIs and enterprise integrationStreaming and event technologies such as KafkaSecurity architecture, IAM, HIPAA, and Zero TrustModern CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, and software development lifecycle modernizationDesired Skills:Healthcare payer experienceAI architecture or AI-related enterprise architecture experienceDatabricks experienceAmazon Redshift and/or Kafka experienceTOGAF certificationAWS Solutions Architect certificationEnterprise digital transformation experienceApplication portfolio managementCloud modernization programsExecutive stakeholder engagementExecutive communication and presentationStrategic thinking and business acumenAbility to influence without direct authorityStrong stakeholder management and consensus buildingCross-functional leadership in large matrixed organizationsOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
