Medical Office Receptionist

Receptionist The receptionist answers a multi-line phone system, delivers messages, operates door access systems, greets visitors, prepares bank deposit and reports, and performs data entry and clerical duties as assigned. Shift time: Monday through Friday, 7:55 am to 4:30 pm. High school graduate or equivalent required, experience or education in administrative work preferred. General knowledge and ability to comprehend medical terminology preferred. General office skills: Word, Excel, phone etiquette, computer experience required. Must have the ability to perform work of a detailed nature and avoid error, possess diplomacy and tact in dealing with clients, family members, providers and staff both by phone and in person, and be able to adapt to fluctuating situations.
