Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift, 12-hour shifts This position involves providing specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients within a long-term care facility. The role includes assuming charge duties on the night shift and may involve working as the sole RN in the facility, with responsibilities centered around patient safety, clinical assessments, and care documentation.

Job Details

• Position Description: Night, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend rotation and some holidays. Responsibilities include bedside shift reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding for all RN units. Night shift RNs will assume charge duties and could be the only RN in the facility.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, minimum of 1 year in long-term care, current WI RN or compact licensure, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience in the specialty.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, trauma level experience, charting system experience, and inpatient RN experience within the last 3 years in the specialty.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Previous experience with inpatient RN roles, knowledge of clinical procedures, and ability to adapt to float requirements are preferred. Travelers are required to float as needed, with a local rule of 50 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted. Strict pass/fail testing with telemetry exam is required before start.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet all clinical and licensure criteria, and pass necessary assessments to be considered.
