Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1.5 years of experience required License: Active state or compact license required at submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Experience with pre-cardiac catheterization and managing ports required - Experience in a telemetry unit required - Charting experience with EPIC required - COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required; medical or religious exemptions only Description: Locals within a certain radius are accepted. No requests for time off during specified holiday periods. Shift hours are from 19:00 to 07:30 with three 12-hour shifts. There is potential to accommodate block scheduling, but it is not guaranteed. The schedule includes four weekend shifts within a six-week period, along with three Mondays and three Fridays. Travel partners are not allowed. Contractors would support patients requiring inpatient care. If there are not enough boarders, staff may float to observation units as needed. Tattoos and piercings must comply with policies; no nose rings or gauged earrings allowed. Nail length should be less than 1/4 inch, and natural fingernails are required for direct client care. Scrubs should be navy blue and free of any agency or brand logos, as this is strictly enforced. Lunch facilities are limited, with a refrigerator and microwave provided on-site. Special equipment includes lift equipment and iPads for communication. The role requires support for admissions, observation units, and emergency department patients waiting for beds. Additional responsibilities may involve interdisciplinary support and specialized care for various patient diagnoses.
