Maintenance Manager

Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance operations to ensure production equipment, facility systems, utilities, and supporting infrastructure operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.We're looking for someone who:Has 5+ years of maintenance leadership or management experienceHas experience working in food production or food manufacturingDemonstrates strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance knowledgeHas experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance programsCan effectively lead, develop, and motivate maintenance employeesDemonstrates strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsHas basic computer skills and experience using maintenance management systemsHas experience using a CMMS (preferred)Has knowledge of SQF and HACCP programs (preferred)Has experience with refrigeration, wastewater treatment, and facility utilities (preferred)Has experience with root cause analysis and equipment reliability improvement (preferred)Is proactive, organized, safety-focused, and comfortable partnering with production and leadership teamsIs available for evening, weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as neededWhat you'll do:Lead and develop the maintenance team while promoting safety, accountability, teamwork, and communicationPlan and prioritize preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activitiesPartner with Production to reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support productivityDevelop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and proceduresTroubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsOversee maintenance of production equipment, facilities, utilities, refrigeration, potable water, and wastewater systemsMaintain appropriate inventories of critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance suppliesCoordinate outside contractors and service providers as neededSupport workplace safety, food safety, SQF, HACCP, and applicable regulatory requirementsMonitor wastewater treatment operations and perform required monthly regulatory composite samplingParticipate in on-call coverage and respond to emergency maintenance situationsBalance immediate production needs with long-term equipment reliability and maintenance improvement
