Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiac Telemetry (Day Shift) in Brooklyn, New York.

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

The Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Maimonides Medical Center is focused on the care of adult and geriatric patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation. The Registered Nurse will manage cardiac conditions such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, and heart failure while providing comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and administer antiarrhythmic medications.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring, including telemetry with non-cardiac drips and medical-surgical nursing interventions.
• Provide patient care for adults and geriatrics requiring cardiac monitoring.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Telemetry or Acute Care experience.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry monitoring and antiarrhythmic medication administration.
• Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and 12-lead EKG interpretation.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
