Senior Accountant - Hybrid (Oakland, CA)

Make a Tangible Impact:

• Drive Financial Accuracy: Lead the preparation of complex journal entries, encompassing consolidations, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, and leases.
• Inform Strategic Decisions: Generate comprehensive financial statements, regulatory filings, and internal performance reports.
• Ensure Compliance: Champion month-end and year-end close processes while maintaining strict adherence to GAAP requirements.
• Optimize Processes: Analyze financial variances, perform detailed account reconciliations, and proactively identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with cross-functional teams on special projects and facilitate internal and external audit requirements.

Your Core Qualifications:

• Essential: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent) alongside 4+ years of dedicated accounting experience.
• Essential: In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and advanced analytical problem-solving skills.
• Preferred: Public Accounting background and proficiency in Oracle Financial or similar ERP software.
• Attributes: Exceptional time management, ability to prioritize competing demands, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Role Transparency:

• Compensation:Up to $41.37/hour.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. OT as needed.
• Location: Hybrid in Oakland, CA (Onsite 5 days/month: 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Tuesday + 1 floating day).
