Full-Time Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health (MAH) is seeking a full- time dental assistant to join our amazing KY team! Mid America Health is hiring a dental assistant to work Full- time, 40 hours per week, between the Blackburn Correctional Complex in Lexington, KY and Northpoint Training Center in Danville, KY. This amazing dental assisting opportunity will work Monday through Friday from approximately 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. This dental assistant position will work between 2 facilities, Blackburn Correctional Complex - 1 day weekly, and Northpoint Training Center - 4 days weekly. This position is a rewarding, low stress alternative to private practice dentistry that offers health insurance, including optional dental and vision coverage as well as generous paid time off and paid holidays. There are no late nights or weekends required for this position. Mid America Health offers competitive compensation of $20 per hour.

Duties:

Routine chairside duties include preventive, restorative, extraction and prosthodontic care. No ortho, crown & bridge or endo required. Significant administrative duties are also required.

Qualifications:

• 1 year experience and certificate from an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• KY X-Ray Certification required
• CPR for Health Care Providers
