You're good at:
- Interacting with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Notifying guests of their wait time and entering their name into the computer seating system and issuing a pager.
- Operating the computer seating system.
- Leading a guest to their table, seating, distributing the menus, and final words.
- Answering the phone and responding to questions concerning the menu, reservations, and the restaurant.
- Addressing difficult situations and guest's complaints through AIM - Apologize, Investigate, and involve Management.
- Communicating clearly. Writing well. Speaking well. Explaining just about anything to anyone.
- Preparing thoroughly and striving for perfection.
- Practicing what you preach.
- Being guest-focused and liking to multi-task.
- Being part of a team and creating a fun – whistle while you work.
- Being happy, trusting, passionate, and determined – Never Settle!
- Putting yourself in the other person's shoes.
Education:
- High School (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications:
- Food Handlers Card (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
