Take the first step towards a rewarding career by applying today!Banquet HousepersonWe are seeking a passionate hospitality professional for the position of Banquet Houseperson at the Belgrove Resort. This expert is responsible for the manual set up, breakdown, and service all meeting rooms in accordance with the Belgrove Resort's standards of quality. This position will also collect all service ware and allocate in accordance with the event order to supply functions for the next day. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to become part of a team always pushing one another to raise the bar. The primary responsibilities of the Banquet Houseperson include but are not limited to:Communicate with Supervisor throughout shift to be aware of the workSet up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest. This includes considerable physical activity in transporting awkward and heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dancefloors, etc., from storage area to meeting roomsSupply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh waterBreak down all meeting rooms where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet so the room will be available to be reset for the next functionReplenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfactionMaintain established cleaning schedule of meeting rooms and ballrooms, ensuring the space always stays presentableAnticipate equipment needs from event orders and count sameMandatory attendance for monthly departmental meetingsPractice "Teamwork" and "Clean as you Go" policiesWhat We Are Looking For?Someone who is at least 18 years of ageSomeone who can accurately follow instructions, both verbally and writtenSomeone who is highly detail orientedSomeone comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentSomeone with excellent communication skillsSomeone who thrives in working in a teamwork environmentSomeone with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends and holidaysSomeone who is a problem solverSomeone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guestsSomeone who is comfortable with being on their feet throughout the shift, with intermittent periods of walking and stair climbing.Someone who is comfortable with being able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 lbs. at shoulder height and frequently lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.Someone who is able to bend, squat, push and pull frequentlyPyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
