Civil Construction Estimator/Project ManagerOur client, located in the Raleigh/Durham area of North Carolina, is seeking a Civil Construction Estimator/Project ManagerEssential Job FunctionsAttend pre-bid meetings and perform site work evaluationsIdentify labor, material and time requirements required to perform workQuantify takeoffs and complete estimate preparation for water, sewer and storm drain installation a plusSubcontractor, supplier and client interactionsSite and road work experienceKnows how to estimate a job based on crew size and equipment needs, and knows productions.Ability to perform as project manager on grading and utility installation servicesPreparation of Request for Quotations and analysis of subcontract and material proposalsExperience working with local and state governments a plusExperience working with grading and utility installation servicesTraining and ExperienceDegree in Construction Engineering Management, Civil Engineering or other related engineering degree a plusMinimum 4 years heavy civil construction experienceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft ExcelValid driver's licenseTeam player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
