Description This position is based in our St. George, Utah, office. We are seeking an attorney who is licensed to practice law in the state of Utah. Please note: If you are not licensed to practice law in Utah, you are not eligible for this position. We encourage only Utah- or Arizona-licensed attorneys to apply. Our law firm is looking for the next associate attorney to assist in providing legal counsel to clients. You will work closely with our senior partners and associates, conduct legal research, draft documents, and maintain client files. If you've recently graduated from law school, have excellent fact-finding and communication skills, and are ready to jump-start your career in the legal industry, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities • Investigate and gather evidence related to personal injury cases, including police reports, medical records, and witness statements
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
• Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel to reach a settlement agreement
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Attend depositions and conduct witness interviews
• Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their case
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop legal strategies and arguments
• Maintain accurate and complete case files and documentation Qualifications $45
