Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (07:00 AM - 03:30 PM)
Experience: 2+ years in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
License: Active VA License required
Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), CST
Must-Have: Active VA License required at submission
Description: Must have an active VA License. Certifications needed include BLS (must be AHA) and CST. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience in Thoracic, Trauma, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics. Common types of cases include Ortho (Total joints, Sports & Medicine, Fractures). Neuro procedures include Spine and Cranial procedures (such as craniotomies, tumor resections, and brain biopsies; clipping not required). Familiarity with navigation systems like Stealth is necessary. Additional case types include Maxillofacial, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Colo-Rectal, General, GYN, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Thoracic, and Breast procedures. The facility has 11 surgical suites and handles 25-35 cases per day. Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred. Scrubs will be provided. Candidates should expect 5-6 on-call shifts, including overnight and weekends. Holiday on-call will only be required if it falls within the contract time frame.
