MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our client's dedicated imaging team in Texas. In this important role, you will perform high-quality mammographic imaging procedures, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise will be critical in detecting breast abnormalities and supporting early diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography exams in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and sanitized.
• Adhere to strict quality control standards and follow infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of images.
• Educate patients about the procedure and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Mammography (M) required.
• Valid Texas state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS certification required prior to the start date.
• Previous experience in mammography preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mammography equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and safe environment.
