Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify the specific needs of clients, utilizing assessment tools and interview techniques.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that employ various therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that provide support and knowledge regarding mental health issues, fostering a sense of community among participants.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate care and optimize client outcomes through an interdisciplinary approach.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure client safety and connection to necessary resources.

• Educate clients about their conditions and the available treatment options, thereby empowering them in their recovery process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in adherence to HIPAA and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health therapy through workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on helping clients that present with a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. We serve a diverse patient population from various backgrounds, requiring a cultural competency and an adaptable approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure (LCSW or equivalent) as required by the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Proven ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and create effective treatment strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build strong rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
