Human Resources | Human Resources Business Partner

What you Deliver HR Plans and Strategic Partnership Drive the development and execution of HR strategies. Collaborate with leaders to align plans with business strategy and recommend changes to the VP of Human Resources. Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, providing expertise and feedback. Work with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and build capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes. HR Policy, Compliance and Employee Relations Assist managers and employees with HR policies, programs, and practices. Communicate policy changes clearly. Lead employee relations groups, such as focus groups and improvement teams, to foster positive relationships. Serve as liaison between employees and HR for disciplinary action, grievances, benefits, leaves of absence, and other related policies. Coach senior leadership on operating within policies, contracts, agreements, and applicable laws. Coordinate compliance with civil rights laws. Organizational Development Serve as a change agent, influencing stakeholders to support organizational effectiveness and HR practices. Provide guidance in restructuring activities, including redundancy policies, staffing, and outsourcing. Ensure implementation and execution of HR strategies. Talent Development Manage the end‑to‑end performance management process, including goal setting, continuous feedback, calibration, discussion, and development planning. Coach leaders to address under‑performance and facilitate performance improvement processes. Drive execution of leadership development programs to maximize productivity. Ensure leadership development needs are met. Organizational Effectiveness Make recommendations on wage, salary, and incentive decisions. Act as liaison between HRIS, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and leadership to exceed internal client needs. Provide feedback to improve HR services and processes continuously. Collect, organize, interpret, and summarize workforce data to support business decisions. Utilize employee feedback surveys and monitor workforce metrics such as onboarding, exit interview, and employee engagement. Other Duties Facilitate New Hire Orientation program. Coordinate and co‑facilitate training programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least five years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations. Professional certification: SHRM CP/SCP or HCI PHR/SPHR. Skills and Assets You Bring, and More Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices in workplace investigations and policy development. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, establishing credibility and rapport at all organizational levels. High discretion and commitment to confidentiality. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Capacity to handle difficult questions with candor and kindness. Strong consultative skills to design and lead market‑based solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience working with HR Information Systems. Catholic Charities is an equal opportunity employer.
