Description: The Electrophysiology Tech will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Late and on-call coverage may be required as needed. The unit is open to first-time travelers, requiring a minimum of 1 year of experience. Scrubs will be provided in royal blue. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and either ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS. Skills necessary for this role include accurate monitoring and various electrophysiology procedures. Important procedures include cardiac ablation, electrophysiology evaluation, and both permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion. Successful candidates will be proficient in hemodynamic monitoring and have experience with EP lab techniques. This position will involve flexible responsibilities as the needs of the unit change. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is essential in providing patient care. Preferred qualifications may include familiarity with specific charting systems and advanced cardiac procedures. Candidates should be prepared to float to similar units as needed.
