Novant Health Steelecroft Pediatrics Registered NurseNovant Health Steelecroft Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse!Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30am-4:30pm; 1 Saturday shift each month 8:00am-12:00pmThe Registered Nurse serves as a leader of the healthcare team at Novant Health by establishing an authentic personalized relationship with the patient and their chosen support system, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care that promotes optimal health or supports a peaceful death. The Registered Nurse utilizes best scientific evidence and compassion to assist the patient in navigating their health journey. The Registered Nurse accepts responsibility, authority, and accountability for management and provision of care in accordance with the current policies and procedures.This role is ideal for candidates with previous experience working with pediatrics patients or in a medical office setting, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply!When you join Novant Health as a RN Ambulatory, you will be able to:Build your skills and experience in a pediatric practiceWork alongside an experienced, collaborative clinical teamGrow your career through professional development and advancement opportunitiesAccess tuition reimbursement and Future Forward education benefitsEnjoy a competitive benefits package and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibilityWhat You'll DoPerform patient triage, complete nurse visits, and manage patient/provider communications through the electronic in-basket.Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and update medical information in the electronic health record (EHR).Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens following established clinical protocols.Conduct Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) and accurately document test results.Support patient care by coordinating follow-up needs, providing patient education, and maintaining exam room readiness and clinical supplies.What We're Looking ForEducation: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
