Location - 1900 Progress Way; Sidney, OH 45365

The maintenance supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and technical support directly to the maintenance technicians in our bakeries. This role is responsible to oversee the daily work of maintenance technicians maintaining our facilities and equipment in order to maintain a safe and productive work site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily supervision of the maintenance resources and equipment in our Bakery.
• Leads the site to achieve zero unsafe conditions for our employees, vendors and visitors, and neighbors.
• Drives our daily root-causes analysis process on equipment issues and conditions.
• Ensure the maintenance employees have the necessary tools, experience and resources available to achieve our objectives.
• Ensure compliance to BRC GMP practices within the maintenance department.
• Drive the team daily in adherence to utilizing our CMM system (EAM) documenting all work being performed on our equipment.
• Drive adherence daily of our spare parts and MRO process with the technicians.
• Daily coaching technical skills to the maintenance team.
• Partner with the production supervisor and team leads to follow up with production concerns and issues.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed, including daily, weekends and holidays.

Position Requirements - Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Hands on experience supervising or leading maintenance employees.
• Experience supervising technicians doing preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, replacement of critical components.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Team player able to work with all levels of management and supervision.
• Able to work in a team environment that includes production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience with blueprints, drawings, layouts, and other specifications
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician, planner or engineer
• Certification and time on the job as a maintenance technician in a commercial bakery
• Certification from a dept of labor recognized apprenticeship.
• Certification / graduation from a recognized vocational / technical training center
• College Degree
• Experience in a commercial bakery as a maintenance supervisor or planner
• Previous experience as a maintenance planner in the food industry
• Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor in the food industry
• Experience working in a multi-craft environment.
• Familiar with EAM computerized maintenance management system
• Familiarity with SAP
• Experience with industrial equipment, conveyance equipment, variable frequency drives and controllers, motor control centers, power distribution panels and sub stations.
• Experience documenting daily work with computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience with practical problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Lean / TPM experience
• Good Computer and communication skills
