Job Summary:
Seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in device testing, automation, debugging, and end-to-end system validation. The candidate will test unreleased device features and backend platform changes across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and browser UI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute E2E testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI, and supporting systems.
• Validate unreleased device features and server-side platform changes.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scenarios.
• Investigate failures and perform root-cause triage across devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and diagnostics to identify failure points.
• Create actionable defect reports with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Work with Python, JavaScript, Java, XCUI, and internal device automation frameworks.
• Validate cross-system workflows involving devices, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Independently troubleshoot and identify probable failure points before escalating issues to engineering teams.

Required Technical Skills:

• 8 10 years of software engineering/testing experience.
• Strong programming and automation experience with Python and Java .
• Experience with XCUI/device automation frameworks .
• Strong debugging, log analysis, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience testing distributed systems and backend service integrations.
• Experience with E2E testing and system-level validation .
• Strong understanding of databases, data access, connectivity, and SQL .
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP .
• Experience or familiarity with Kafka and Spark .
• Knowledge of containerization technologies.
• Experience working with test automation frameworks and infrastructure.
• Ability to independently triage complex technical issues.
