Mountain View Country Club is seeking a passionate and dedicated TRX Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TRX Suspension Training and a comprehensive understanding of functional movement, body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology. As a TRX Instructor, you will lead engaging classes that improve strength, stability, mobility, endurance, and overall well-being. You will be responsible for designing safe, effective workouts for diverse clientele while fostering a supportive and motivating environment.

Position Overview: 

· Conduct group and individual TRX Suspension Training classes, ensuring proper technique, equipment use, and safety for all participants.

· Design customized functional fitness programs using TRX principles and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and movement mechanics.

· Teach proper body position, strap adjustment, anchor-point awareness, and movement patterns to improve exercise efficiency and reduce injury risk.

· Incorporate strength, cardiovascular, mobility, balance, and core exercises to create dynamic class experiences.

· Monitor participant form and progress, providing appropriate regressions, progressions, and feedback to help clients achieve their fitness goals.

· Inspect, set up, clean, and store TRX equipment, ensuring straps and anchor points are secure and in good working condition.

· Promote classes and programs through effective fitness sales strategies to attract new clients.

Engage with clients to build relationships that encourage retention and community within the health club 

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead engaging, safe, and effective TRX classes tailored to a diverse group of participants.

· Provide clear verbal and visual cues, exercise demonstrations, and appropriate modifications to support all fitness levels.

· Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional environment that aligns with our studio's values and standards.

· Set up and break down the class space, verify secure anchor points, and ensure cleanliness and proper equipment storage.

· Offer consistent guidance and progressive programming to help participants improve total-body strength, core stability, balance, mobility, and endurance over time.

Requirements:

Experience Required:

· Minimum 2 years of experience teaching TRX Suspension Training in a group setting.

· Experience teaching groups of 10 or more participants confidently, safely, and effectively. 

Qualifications:

· Current TRX Suspension Training certification from a recognized TRX education program Required. Additional certifications in group fitness, personal training, strength and conditioning, or functional training are preferred.

· Current CPR/AED certification Preferred not required.

· A nationally recognized group fitness or personal training certification is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of functional movement, exercise modifications, and safe suspension-training practices.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and connect with clients.

· Punctual, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality instruction.

Must be comfortable and experienced teaching classes of 10+ participants

· Experience teaching complementary fitness modalities such as strength training, HIIT, cycling, yoga, or mobility is a plus.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all fitness levels.

· Previous experience in sports coaching or health club environments is advantageous.
