Associate Corporate CounselJoin Amazon's Legal Department as an Associate Corporate Counsel supporting AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to business leadership, negotiate complex cloud technology transactions, and develop innovative solutions that enable us to scale legal support to our global client base.Key job responsibilities:Draft, negotiate, and finalize terms for complex, high-value cloud technology transactions, demonstrating sound judgment in ambiguous situations and balancing legal risk with business objectivesProvide ongoing legal counsel and contract interpretation guidance to AWS business team members, serving as a trusted advisor on transactional and commercial mattersManage legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, working to resolve disputes and maintain strong client partnershipsAdvise business leadership on legal risk associated with new business initiatives and market opportunitiesAddress pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries, working collaboratively with business teams to develop appropriate responses and resolutionsAbout the team:We are a collaborative legal team dedicated to supporting AWS's mission of making cloud technology accessible and valuable to businesses worldwide. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
