What You’ll Do

• Manage inpatient admissions, discharges, and rounding on rehab units.
• Provide general physiatry care for patients with injury, stroke, orthopedic, or pain management needs.
• Perform bread-and-butter PM&R procedures, including joint injections and spasticity management with Botox or intrathecal baclofen pumps.
• Collaborate with internal and external specialists in neurology, orthopedics, pain, and internal medicine to optimize patient care.
• Ensure documentation aligns with hospital standards and is completed timely.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient treatment plans.
• Respond to call responsibilities including night beeper call, with fluctuating call volume.

What You Need

• Active California medical license and DEA registration
• Board Certification in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (BC only)
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient PM&R experience
• Ability to perform basic procedures such as joint injections and spasticity management
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills
