Hospice On-Call Nurse for weekdays

Golden Rule Hospice is seeking a FULL-TIME Registered Nurse for our On-Call Team; Monday - Thursday in Fulton, Forsyth, Cherokee, Cobb, Dawson and Hall Counties. The ideal candidate wants to join a phenomenal hospice team, enjoy working in home care and have a passion for end-of-life care. Current resident of Georgia. One year of hospice or home health experience, preferable. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse. Reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage Good communication skills (verbal and written) Registered Nurse Responsibilities Assesses and reassesses the nursing needs of the Hospice patient. Communicate and collaborate with the answering service and hospice team members. Provides Hospice nursing services, treatments, and preventive procedures. Initiates nursing procedures appropriate for the patient’s Hospice care and safety. Observes signs and symptoms and reports to the physician and IDG members any unexpected changes in the patient’s physical or emotional condition. Teaches and counsels the Hospice patient and family members about providing care for the patient.
