Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotating Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient oncology experience License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS ACLS Chemo Certification (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: Inpatient oncology and BMT experience Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology. The position involves 12-hour day and night rotating shifts. Ability to float to other facilities is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of inpatient oncology experience. Experience with bone marrow transplants is preferred. The role includes administration of chemotherapy and management of side effects. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients post-chemotherapy and ensuring patient safety. Knowledge of patient ratios is essential. Familiarity with Epic charting system is required. Candidates will need to provide two references from recent employers. Previous charge experience is preferred. Floating to different departments may be required during the assignment.
