We are seeking a skilled and artistic Dental Lab Ceramist to craft high-aesthetic, lifelike dental restorations. You will use advanced ceramics, porcelain layering techniques, and digital tools to create natural-looking crowns, veneers, and bridges that improve patient smiles.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Artistic Restoration: Layer, stack, and contour porcelain and ceramic materials to match the natural shade, translucency, and texture of real teeth for single units, and implant restorations.
• Precision Fabrication: Operate porcelain furnaces, grind, stain, and glaze custom crowns, bridges, and veneers from digital or physical impressions.
• Digital Integration: Utilize CAD/CAM software and 3D tech to verify designs and improve production flow.
• Collaboration: Partner with local dentists and lab teams to review prescriptions and troubleshoot complex shade-matching or fit requirements. Assisting with patients for custom shading needs as scheduled. Manage inventory appropriately and filling out proper forms to restock items.
• Quality Control: Inspect all finished pieces against strict quality standards before final delivery. Keep up to date records of lot and reference numbers for inventory.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a dental ceramist or specialized lab technician.
• Exceptional eye for color, shape, and fine artistic detail.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Familiarity with modern ceramic materials (e.g., zirconia, lithium disilicate) and equipment.
• Friendly chair-side presence and demeanor
• Certified Dental Technician (CDT) credential is a plus.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time-management skills to consistently meet laboratory turnaround deadlines. Team player attitude that works well as a member of a group. Devoted to a task with purpose and has integrity. Open to instruction and a willingness to learn.
