Position Overview We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to backfill a key role providing manufacturing support to engine builds and testing, fully on-site in Mossville, IL. This role offers a blend of desk and direct hands-on experience with engines, exposure to R&D, and the opportunity to learn internal manufacturing systems while working alongside a diverse team that includes production workforce members and engineers. Key Contributions & Responsibilities Provide manufacturing support to engine builds and testing. Develop and maintain standard work documentation; design tooling and manage tooling orders. Conduct BIQ walk-backs to support manufacturing quality and process improvement. Work directly with mechanics and technicians in a collaborative team environment. Team Structure & Work Environment Work is directed by the Team Lead; the team currently includes one other Manufacturing Engineer. Work environment is approximately 50% lab and 50% office. PPE (boots) is required. This is a fully on-site role in Mossville, IL. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred. 3-5 years of engine experience preferred. Associate’s degree will be considered with 6+ years of relevant experience. Top Skills Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work. Tool design and standard work development experience. Desired Technical Skills Engine or testing experience.
