Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro TelemetryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neuro Telemetry team. This role provides essential care for telemetry patients, focusing on their neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assess patients in a telemetry setting.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Perform critical procedures including peripheral IV starts, Foley catheter insertions, and NGT insertions.Document patient information accurately using the Meditech documentation system.Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance patient care outcomes.Participate in floating to different units as required by the facility's needs.QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (temporary licenses are not accepted).Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience required.Telemetry experience is mandatory.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.Experience with neurological conditions, including stroke and seizure management, is preferred.Prior experience with Meditech documentation system is advantageous.Shift InformationSchedule: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. / 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.Commitment to work 2 weekend days with flexibility based on unit needs.Guaranteed 36 hours per week.Dress CodeScrub Color: Navy scrub top and pants, with an option for a navy or white scrub jacket.Maintain a professional appearance including clean and tidy hair, minimal visible piercings, and covered tattoos when feasible.LocationSan Antonio, TXAdditional InformationThe successful candidate will embody the values of patient-focused care and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality service and treatment.
