Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technician to join our team in Burleson, TX, 76028. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our fabrication shop by maintaining and repairing equipment, tools, and facilities. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment and machinery.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and equipment efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
- Order and manage inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance or repair, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a shop environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
