Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for CVOR CST - Surgery Open Heart

Job Description:

- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
- Call Requirements: Weeknight and weekends
- RTO: Maximum of 1 week (Thanksgiving week blackout)
- Location Requirement: Candidates must be greater than 50 miles from the facility

Requirements:

- Certification:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by NBSTSA
- BLS Certification
- Experience:
- Must have Open Heart experience
- Proficient in scrubbing for Ortho, Neuro, DaVinci robot, General, and Gyne surgeries
- Minimum of 2 years' experience
- EMR: Cerner
- Equipment: Stryker (new in the last year)

Scope of Role:

- Primary role as Open Heart CST
- Support in general cases when not in Open Heart surgeries

Additional Information:

- Orientation Dates: 10/19/26 or every other Monday (excluding holidays)
- Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: 12 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Scrub Color: Surgical blue
- Travelers must submit required license and certifications; submissions without them will be rejected.
- Must include driver's license and permanent home address on the submission; address must match ID.
