Annually, we receive the Employer of Choice Award by Home Care Pulse, and a Caring Star Top Rating./ppResponsibilities and Duties:/pulliAssisting with ADLs and IADLs/liliAmbulation/liliBathing/liliPersonal hygiene/liliContinence / toileting/liliDressing / shaving/liliEating / feeding/liliTransferring/liliPrepares meals and snacks according to instructions and special diets/liliAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments/liliPerforms housekeeping activities including vaccuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom/liliPerforms client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse includes, but are not limited to:/liulliMedication reminders/liliAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises/liliMeasuring and preparing special diets/liliUnderstanding dementia care/liliIncontinence care/li/ul/ulpQualifications and Skills:/pulliHHA / PCA certification/liliHigh school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred/liliExperience as a caregiver preferred, but not required; experience can be in personal homes or facilities/liliThe ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required/liliPossess a valid drivers license and insured automobile is a plus but not required/li/ulpRight at Homes mission is simple... to improve the quality of life for those we serve.
