About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Pyramid Consulting, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Globe, Arizona, 85501!

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning.
• Float to other appropriate units as needed to support patient care and staffing requirements.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Current  BLS certification required.
• Must be comfortable working  night shifts with call responsibilities .
• Must be willing to float based on facility needs.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment.
